Two new Bruce Willis action films shooting in Ohio this spring, summer

Bruce Willis brings his action mojo to Northeast Ohio this spring Yippee ki-ya, movie filmers! Die Hard star Bruce Willis is set to star in two films shooting in Ohio this spring and summer. The first, Acts of Violence , will shoot in Northeast Ohio beginning March 27. The second, Reprisal , begins in July. No word yet on where the film will shoot. Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films' co-founders, Randall Emmett and George Furla, will produce both pictures. Willis is in partnership with Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films and has starred in a number of pictures produced by the company. Most - like The Prince and Extraction - are released direct-to-video or VOD.

Greg Kinnear, Hilary Swank TV drama may film in Ohio - if it finds a new broadcast home

Hilary Swank and Greg Kinnear may shoot TV drama 'The One Percent' in Ohio The upcoming cable TV drama The One Percent will shoot its first season in Ohio - if it can find a new broadcast distributor. In-state pre-production work was expected to start in February, with the series’ final Ohio production date in November, according to the production’s tax credit application, filed with the Ohio Development Services Agency in mid-December 2016. That may change. Starz, the cable broadcaster originally slated to run the series, dropped the project in early March after a number of production delays, according to Deadline Hollywood . Starz gave a 10-episode straight-to-series order in 2014. MRC Television, the series’ production company, is sticking with show and looking for a new distributor. According to Collider.com, that won't be so hard , with Amazon or Netflix the most likely targets. Cameras will r ol l d e spite the lack of a distrib utor, Collider reports
